Guthrie Pumpkin Farm and Corn Maze

October 5-7, 12-14, 19-21, 26-28

Enjoy all the fun that comes with the fall season! Head to Guthrie’s Pumpkin Farm for a hayride to a pumpkin field, a corn-maze full of fun, an animal petting barn, duck races, and more!

Dread Hollow

Ruby Falls Haunted Cavern and Fear Connection have joined forces to create Dread Hollow – a bone-chilling, extreme haunt experience. Designed to blur the boundaries between reality and fantasy, this interactive, themed attraction compels visitors to make their way through over 20,000 square-feet of hair-raising thrills. Not recommended for children under 12.

Fireside Music Series

October 4, 11, 18, 25

7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Greenway Farms

Gather around the campfire and take in sights and sounds of the outdoor autumn music series sponsored by Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union (TVFCU). It is a free and family friendly event. Don’t forget to bring your blankets, camp chairs, marshmallows, roasting stick and perhaps a picnic supper!

Rocktoberfest

October 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28

8:30 to 5:00 p.m.

Get in touch with Rock City’s German heritage during their annual Rocktoberfest. Rock City Square is transformed to celebrate the fall season with live German music, polka lessons, specialty beer, German food, costumed characters, and fun for the whole family.

Halloween Eerie Express

October 5-7, 12-13, 19-20, 26-27

Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum

5:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. & 3:35 p.m. (Sat. only)

Take a ride on the Eerie Express vintage train for a spooky, family-friendly, Halloween experience. The journey includes storytelling, hot cider, black-light mini golf, costume contest, petting zoo, pony rides, and a tour through the “gentle thrills” Eerie Fun House, a 20-room, 2,000 square foot “old time” fun experience.

Boo in The Zoo

October 19, 20, 26, 27

5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

This non-scary Halloween event is sure to bring fun for the whole family! Boo in the Zoo features some of your most loveable cartoon characters, trick-or-treat stations, costume contests, pony rides, games, inflatables, and more!
