Humane Educational Society thanks volunteers, donors, and supporters for lifesaving year

Each year, the Humane Educational Society saves the lives of thousands of deserving animals. Local Fare Magazine is proud to partner with such an upstanding, compassionate and lifesaving group of animal welfare heroes in Hamilton County.

We’d like to share this message from HES Executive Director, Bob Citrullo.

“The holiday season is a time to reflect on the past year and look forward to new beginnings with anticipation and hope. At the Humane Educational Society, we’re filled with a spirit of love and compassion; a spirit that has driven us to fulfill our mission for more than a century.

Our lifesaving accomplishments as a shelter would be impossible without your support. There are hundreds of homeless pets that may otherwise still be abandoned, cold and afraid without your generosity. Now, they have a warm bed to sleep in, nutritious food to fill their bellies, and loving care for, perhaps, the first time in their lives.

I am grateful for all the caring people in this community like you who make our mission possible. Please help us make this holiday season and New Year one filled with hope. Together, we can make a difference.

Happy New Year,
Bob Citrullo
Executive Director”
