Humane Educational Society Opens New Thrift Store

The Humane Educational Society is proud to open their new and improved thrift store!

In early June, the Humane Educational Society closed Second Chance Thrift Store on Ringgold Road to pursue a new brand and location.

DéjàNu Thrift Store & Boutique will open at 4784 Highway 58 on July 21st. They’ll have a ceremonial ribbon cutting at 4 p.m.

All proceeds from the store go directly to helping animals at the Humane Educational Society. You can make a tax-deductible donation onsite at the store during open hours, or by calling (423) 708-8995 to arrange a pickup.

Acceptable items include:
Housewares, clothing, accessories, pet items, furniture, home décor, kitchenware, sporting goods, electronics, books, music, movies, seasonal items, collectibles, art and antiques.

Not acceptable:
Non-digital TV’s, flammable liquids, pesticides, firearms, anything rusted, adult novelties, wire hangers, torn clothing, bedding and pillows not in original packaging.
