Chattanooga Heroes Run 
On July 16, 2015, Chattanooga was forever changed. On Saturday, the Chattanooga Heroes Run will be five miles to honor each of the men who gave the ultimate sacrifice. As decided by the families of the five servicemen, all profits from the event will be donated to help fund a permanent memorial that will be built near the Navy Operational Support Center off Amnicola Highway. The race begins at 8 a.m.

Summer Fur Fest
Humane Educational Society

10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Join the Humane Educational Society for their first-ever Summer Fur Fest! Enjoy discounted adoption rates for dogs ($50) and cats ($15 with the option to BOGO!). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, and vaccinations. Grab a burger or hot dog from the grill and enter your name to win exciting prices! Do you have room in your heart, but not your home, for a shelter pet? Drop by from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. to sample fine wines from One Hope, which will give a portion of purchases back to HES.

Riverfront Nights 
Ross’s Landing
6:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.
One of the city’s favorite outdoor music series returns to the riverfront! Riverfront Nights kicks off Saturday night. All shows are child and pet friendly. Doors open and beer sales start at 6:30 and bands begin at 7 p.m.!
