Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival
The 3rd Annual Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival will take place beautiful Blackburn Park on Saturday, Mach 25 and Sunday, March 26. Not only will festival attendees enjoy an arts & crafts market, a pet parade, children’s village, stunt dog shows and delicious food from Atlanta’s most popular food trucks, but they will be entertained by live performances throughout the weekend. Admission to the festival is FREE!

The title character of Madame Butterfly – a young Japanese geisha who clings to the belief that her arrangement with a visiting American naval officer is a loving and permanent marriage – is one of the defining roles in opera. The lyric beauty of Puccini’s score has made Butterfly timeless. Experience lavish sets and costumes and gorgeous music provided by guest soloists, the CSO orchestra and CSO chorus.

Main Street Meats + Lagunitas Craft Beer Dinner
Chef Erik Niel and Sous Chef Jake Cornish will start the evening with hors d’oeuvres and a refreshing Lagunitas craft beer cocktail. Dinner will follow with a four-course feast paired with specialty Lagunitas craft beers. As always, Main Street Meats is sure to impress!

Exotic pest plants like Chinese Privet and Japanese Honeysuckle got their start in our landscapes but then escaped into the wild, so it’s more important than ever to avoid plants that can become invasive! Sally Wencel, the workshop leader, will look at the chief culprits, some that are still available in garden centers, and identify native plant substitutes and places to buy these plants.
