Everyone loves to spend time outside. Hiking, trail running, camping, and fishing are spring and summertime staples for any outdoor lover—but do you know how to enjoy these outdoor recreational activities responsibly?
Leave No Trace is an organization dedicated to teaching people how to enjoy the outdoors in a responsible, ethical manner. Rock Creek and Outdoor Chattanooga are excited to host a Leave No Trace Trainer Course at Lula Lake Land Trust. The LNT Trainer Course is an informative, practical, and fun 2-day certification workshop on the practice of and ethics behind minimal-impact recreation and travel. This course is designed for people who actively teach outdoor skills or provide recreation information to the public.
In this course, participants will learn skills and teaching techniques through lectures, skits, and discussions in a spectacular outdoor setting. It’s important to treat the Earth with respect and care, especially when you’re outside enjoying everything she has to offer. The Leave No Trace Trainer Course will teach you how to enjoy nature responsibly, and it’s sure to be an experience you’ll never forget!
